No. This mastery tool doesn’t require assembly, set up, or special care. Simply put it on your club and start swinging! It’s portable, and so lightweight you won’t even feel it on your clubface.

If the velcro starts to come away from the strike shield just put a dab of glue between the velcro and the shield and press down and shield will be good as new. The need to do this is rare, however, we have had a three customers mention that this has happened. We are researching to see if it is due to the how the product is being transported or if the people using it are so forceful that they are literally knocking the cover off. If so, just smile😊 A little dab of glue will fix everything, but hopefully won’t be necessary.

The Impact Improver ball will stick when a golfer hits the velcro located on the clubface/strike-shield. The only way the ball won’t stick to the club is if the clubhead is working “up” or moving toward the sky at impact. In this case, the user is making more contact with the sole of the club where no velco is located, and that is not recommended … this is a teaching moment. When the ball doesn’t stick, it means it would have been a topped shot or a thin shot. The good news is, if the ball does not stick it won’t hurt anything in your home, because of the soft fabric coating on the ball.

The balls will fuzz a bit after being hit. And depending how hard the ball is hit, it may get a bit out of shape. No need to worry, all you have to do is roll the ball in your hands and the ball will return to its round shape and the fuzz will go down.

The facilitator tool was included to help remove the strike-shield. Don’t worry, there is no assembly. There is nothing that you have to put together and there are no screws. The facilitator tool (screwdriver) is simply a leverage tool.

The screwdriver helps with removal of the strike shield with no fear of breaking a finger nail. Depending on the design of some clubs, it is difficult to get your fingers under the teeth of the strike-shield for removal, and using the facilitator tool makes it easy to get off.

For most users, they will easily get the shield off with their hands only.

When you practice without ball flight, all of your attention is focused on how your body and golf club moved during the swing. This helps improve your body feels, club awareness, timing, and balance. Practicing without ball flight, while still having a ball to contact is one of the best ways to enhance your range practice.

Remember, all ball flight is created by your body and club movements, so practicing contact without ball flight at home makes a lot of sense to improve your play when you are on the course.

When people use impact tape, most times they are still guessing where they hit it because they let so many impact marks pile up on the same piece of tape. With the Impact Improver, there’s no sticky residue, and you see where you made contact on each swing.

We recommend using the Impact Improver indoors and off a mat or carpet. Don’t hit off any hard surface like tile or hardwood. You can use the Impact Improver on grass, but we don’t recommend it because grass may get stuck in the shield and will be hard to get off. Also, the balls are lightweight so using outside in the wind will be difficult.

• Don’t swing if people, pets, or objects are nearby. We want you to punish the ball, not other stuff.

• Don’t hit a real golf ball with the Impact Improver on the clubface. You may crack the Strike Shield…and put a hole in your wall. Not recommended!

• We don’t recommend using the product on tile or hardwood floors. The Impact Improver works well off carpet or a mat.
